Job Title: Bilingual HR Manager, Europe
Type:Permanent Full Time
Location: Middlesex
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bilingual HR Manager to join a global technology company in Middlesex. A new position has been created to work in partnership with the business to provide specialist coaching support and influence that enable management to effectively achieve strategic results.
You will provide a consultancy service that delivers best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support your dedicated business units which are based in five European locations.
Key accountabilities are:
- Develop HR strategies and plans, recommend HR objectives and methods, and represent the business units needs in day-to-day HR activities.
- Working as an integral part of the management team, develop effective working relationships, influence and challenge the senior management team on their leadership style and the development and delivery of their people plans.
- Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organisational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives within the business unit.
- Lead change programs within the allocated business units, provide both transactional advice and transactional support on change management, restructures, job role design, outsourcing and redundancy.
- Coach and develop the management team to effectives manage their people.
- Embed a performance management culture which is aligned with the organisations culture
- Work in partnership with the business to manage employee relations issues, building management responsibility and capability in this area.
- Responsibility for recruitment, selection and termination process.
- Provide advice and guidance on remuneration ranges.
- As part of the broader Corporate HR team, manage and participate in general and specialised HR programs.
- Provide project management support with specific HR related projects.
Skills required:
- Experience within a senior HR generalist role
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with a wider HR team
- Experience of effectively challenging and influencing at Senior Management level
- Experience of managing significant organisational change
- Proven experience of managing and implementing projects and change initiatives
- Experience of dealing with complex ER casework
- Languages: Spanish and Italian
- Willingness to travel to Europe every three months
Job Title: HR Manager
Type: Part time 6 month fixed term contract
Location: Bristol
Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 Pro rata
Our client is looking for an experienced HR generalist on a part time basis for a period of six months. You will deliver a comprehensive, efficient and professional HR service to a specific client group.
key accountabilities are:- Provide advice and guidance to line managers on employment law, contracts and policies
- Advise and participate in all aspects of recruitment and selection
- Advise and play and active role in disciplinaries, grievances and appeals
- Handle any employment tribunal claims that arise
- Manage TUPE transfers
- Produce management information when required
- Deliver specific training when required
- Assist with the development of policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will be willing to travel with this role, have a proven track record of delivering a generalist HR service in a fast paced environment. You will have proven experience of dealing with complex casework and be able to influence and coach line managers. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established function and assist with continuous improvement.
Job Title: HR Manager
Type: Interim 6 months
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £35,000 to £47,000
Our client is seeking a HR Manager to cover a six month contract based in Gloucester. You will provide professional support to the leadership team to formulate, develop , implement, monitor and review the HR strategy and best practice.
key accountabilities are:- Responsible for driving the HR strategy forward ensuring the full buy in from the senior management team
- Responsible for the overall department including recruitment and selection, employee relations, employee engagement and learning and development
- Conduct regular reviews of the HR strategy to ensure it is meeting its objectives
- Ensure HR policy and procedures are implemented in accordance with the company standards
- Manage a team of four HR professionals to deliver a first class service to the business
- Manage the annual salary review process
- Ensure the HR reports are delivered on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Lead the annual employment engagement survey and deliver on agreed action plans
The successful applicant will have proven experience of managing a team with significant experience of employee relations. Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR policy and procedures are essential for this position. This is a great opportunity to join an established HR function and provide advice and support to senior management on strategic matters. Travel will be required with this position.
